Dario Azzelini

Dario Azzellini

Dario Azzellini is a political scientist, a sociologist, and a documentary film director. He specializes in international labor studies and global social change with a special focus on Europe and Latin America. He has done extensive research and has published in the areas of critical labor studies, politics of resistance, Latin American Studies, and war sociology. In the field of critical labor studies, his research has focused on workers’ self-organization and collective responses to precarious work conditions and workplace closure.

Ujjainee is interested in interdisciplinary approaches to the study of environmental governance, rain-fed areas and 'climate vulnerability'.  She's interested in studying the impact of human responses to climate change.
