OFFICE MANAGING THE AWARD PROCESS: Counseling and Advising, Office of Academic Programs.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: Mid March.
ELIGIBILITY: All academic advisors of CALS undergraduates.
SPECIFICS: Recognizes excellence in undergraduate advising. A small stipend will be attached to the award. Donald C. Burgett retired in September 1995 as Director of Student Services in the College after 28 years of service. Don had an outstanding career in working with and counseling students, as well as coordinating the faculty advising program in the College and in making academic programs work. He skillfully handled the Academic Petitions Committee and all aspects of his position. The award is named in Don's honor. This award is considered prestigious by the faculty because it is awarded by students.
