Keynote Speaker: Bill Bishop, Creator of Daily Yonder website and author of The Big Sort
This conference will focus on community leadership, consensus building, social networking and other skills that will enable Upstate New York communities to survive and thrive during these difficult economic times. The conference will stress opportunities for community actors to work together in a spirit of cooperation and strong leadership to promote healthy communities and regional collaborations. In addition to the keynote speaker, the conference will include sessions with practical exercises for developing leadership skills and consensus building in a political environment. It will conclude with a panel of representatives of the different levels of government.
