Overview: This webinar is for anyone currently using or interested in using demographic data for a number of purposes, including community profiles, planning, and program evaluation. Host Robin Blakely and guests will work with participants to address the following types of questions: What kind of data is appropriate to use for each purpose? Where does the data come from? Where can we find the data? How do we interpret this data? What are some successful examples of organizations and communities using such data? Robin Blakely is an Extension Associate with the Community & Rural Development Institute (CaRDI) in the Department of Development Sociology at Cornell University. She serves as the Managing Editor of CaRDI's various publication series and is currently developing a program called VIEW – Vital Indicators for Enhanced Well-being, which will be the focus of this webinar.
